Telephone Support Line

Message service operates 7 days. Calls are initially taken by the coordinator and then passed on to a volunteer. Many volunteers have themselves recovered from PND or know somebody who has.

Workshop ‘Unfolding Possibilities’

Held over 6 weeks. Term one is held in Lower Hutt and begins on March 1st. Space is available. Please call us to register.

Councelling Service

PND Wellington can offer up to 12 free councelling sessions with a Student Councellor. PND Student Councellors have life experience, their own children and an understanding of parenting issues, and an interest in PND. They work within a framework outlined by PND Wellington. Students receive supervision from at least one source.

We can offer refferels to Qualified Councellors who work alongside us. There is a charge to see qualified councellors usually ranging between $40 – $80.

Structured education/support groups (currently not established for 2012)

Run for eight weeks. Operate throughout our catchment area.  Run by trained and experienced facilitators & counsellors. These courses provide support and education to help women recover from PND. Each course is evaluated to provide feedback for the facilitators to maintain relevance and quality and for the benefit and requirements of our funders.
